Teen Board Meeting
Register for summer volunteer opportunities at the Library,
help plan and organize library programs and services for teens....come
prepared to talk about a book or fandom you are passionate about. Help
make your Library and your community a better place.
For teens in grades 5-12; ALL TEENS are welcome.
Thursday, June 11, 2-4 p.m.
*Mini Flashlight Workshop for TEENS (grades 5-12)
PLEASE PRE-REGISTER; limited to 20 teens
This workshop introduces electricity, circuits and soldering. teams will
learn components of the flashlight and prototype the circuit with
little bits. Students will learn all the components of a soldering iron
and how to solder safely, finally construct their own Lip Balm flashlight. This Tinkr Tech workshop puts students into small groups and will take about two hours.
Please pre-register; for teens in grades 5-12.
Thursday, July 16, 1:30 p.m.
*Teen Craft: Mask & Unmask
PLEASE PRE-REGISTER; limited to 20 teens
Show the world who you are (and create a great decoration for your room)
by decorating a masquerade mask or porcelain face. Feathers, jewels,
and paint provided.
Please pre-register; for teens in grades 5-12.

TEEN PRIZE AUCTION
Only for teens who participated in the TEEN Reading Program, UNMASKED,
and who turned in TEEN reading cards by Friday, July 24, 2015. If
you participated in the Teen Reading Program, claim your (fake) credit
card and use it to bid on real prizes! Come in a costume or mask for
extra money!
